Robbi Fritz Portela aka Maple Lane Pottery works in a durable stoneware clay that is well suited to the brightly painted animal designs she has developed. She loves being a potter who make pieces that are both fun and functional.
Robbi's love of animals shows up in her line of whimsical dinner ware. She grew up on a farm in rural NH and now lives and works on her farm in Windsor, Maine with her husband 2 cats, a dog and many farm animals. On her farm over the years she has raised chickens, sheep, cows, horses and rabbits.
